WHAT DOES IT DO?
SUITABLE FOR:
For moisture resistant bonding and laminating of practically all hard, soft and exotic types of wood. Suitable for well-fitting, non-load bearing wooden structures using, for example, finger joints, dovetail joints, mortise and tenon joints, dowels and springs. Suitable for indoor applications such as doors and furniture in, for example, living rooms and offices. For surface bonding wood, hard and softboard, chipboard, multiplex plywood, MDF, paper, cardboard and hardboard. Also suitable for laminating veneer and hard plastic sheet (HPL, Formica, Duropal, Resopal) on a wooden surface. EN 204 D2: Interior spaces in which increased relative humidity occurs occasionally and for a short time, whereby the level of wood humidity remains below 18%.
GETTING STARTED
BEFORE USE:
Working conditions
The ambient temperature, the adhesive and the materials to be bonded should be no less than +5°C. Relative humidity of up to 65%. Level of wood humidity between 8% and 12%.
Surface requirements
The surfaces to be bonded need to be clean, dry and free of dust. Ensure a well-fitting joint.
Preliminary surface treatment
Greasy wood types should be degreased with 'Thinner for Bison Kit®' or Thinner.
Tools
Fine-toothed glue spreader (1 mm), brush or roller, clamp or press.
DURING USE:
Directions for use
Apply the adhesive with a brush or some other tool in an even and thin layer on one or both parts. Let penetrate for a few minutes, then assemble the parts and clamp or press for 1-2 hours. The desired pressure is 2-5 kg/cm².
Advice
For water resistant bonding, use Bison Wood Glue Super (EN 204 D3).
AFTER USE:
Stains/residue
Remove adhesive residues immediately with water. Dry adhesive residue can only be removed mechanically.
Storage conditions
Close container properly and store in a dry, cool and frost-free place.
