GETTING STARTED
BEFORE USE:
Working conditions
Not to be applied at temperatures below +10°C.
Surface requirements
Materials to be glued should be clean, dry, and free of dust and grease.
Preliminary surface treatment
If necessary degrease with acetone.
DURING USE:
Directions for use
- When glueing overlapping parts: Apply glue thinly to entire surface of both sides. Let dry for 5-20 minutes. Glue should be dry to the touch. Drying time depends on nature of materials and on temperature. Join parts and press or tap firmly. After joining, parts stick immediately! Final bond strength depends on pressure, therefore exercise as much pressure as possible on the entire surface.
- When glueing parts which will be reinflated later on: (inflatable boats, swimming belts, beach balls, etc.), let glue connection dry for at least 6 hours before reinflating objects.
- When glueing tears and holes: use scissors to cut a piece off the repair pad enclosed with the object. The piece must be greater than the tear/hole to be repaired. The larger the overlap, the stronger the connection. Then follow the instructions for 'overlapping parts'.
Advice
When repairing a tear, cut a small circle at both ends. This divides the tension on the tear and prevents it from tearing any further.
AFTER USE:
Stains/residue
Remove fresh stains with acetone.
Storage conditions
Store in a dry, cool and frost free place.
